Gratitude for the voice

I had the privilege of joining Positive Talk Radio, and I can honestly say it was more than just a podcast conversation, it was a meaningful dialogue about service, purpose, and the power of community.

We talked about how Sleep in Heavenly Peace started with a single bunk bed in my garage and grew into a movement built by ordinary people who simply refused to accept that kids in their own towns were sleeping on the floor. What I appreciated most was the depth of the conversation. This wasn’t just about building beds, it was about building hope, restoring dignity, and proving that humans helping humans can change the trajectory of a child’s life.

The host created a space where the mission could be shared authentically, and where the real issue of child bedlessness could be understood in a way that inspires action.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to share the story, the lessons learned, and the heart behind SHP. Conversations like this help spread awareness, and awareness is the first step toward making sure no kid sleeps on the floor in our town.

Thank you, Positive Talk Radio, for the platform and for caring about stories that truly matter.
