Celeste is raising funds to participate in treatment at Verita Neuro in Guadalajara. While she understands that a full recovery may not be possible, she is focused on gaining greater independence, mobility, and freedom. At the same time, she is working to raise awareness about ongoing clinical trials and advocate for faster action and expanded access to promising therapies.
Through her journey, Celeste hopes to inspire others facing life altering injuries. She believes healing begins within and that mindset, determination, and community support are powerful forces in reclaiming possibility.

Spinal Cord Injury Survivor
I am a remodeler of highly distressed properties and hands-on landlord. My business motto is "Improving community". July 19, 2023 I survived a complete spinal cord injury that paralyzed me from the waist down. While there is no cure for spinal cord injury, there are some very promising treatments that are helping people heal and recover from the debilitating effects of spinal cord injury including paralysis, spasms, nerve pain, incontinence and autonomic disreflexia. Some of these treatments are still in clinical trials in the US and around the world. Some of these treatments are being offered commercially outside the US. I am raising money to participate in treatment offered by Verita Neuro in Guadalajara. While I can not expect a full 100% recovery, I can expect a much higher quality of life and ability to live much more freely. I have seen some impressive results come out of this clinic. Meanwhile, I aim to bring attention to the clinical trials currently happening in the US and pressure the FDA to act. Likewise, I hope to be a source of inspiration to others in my position helping people understand that healing comes from within, it is all in your state of mind.
