Cole Devlin

Cole Devlin (he/they), CPC, MSW, LSWAIC (soon LICSW) is a lifelong Seattleite and lover of people. Want to discuss the life-saving modality of peer support or the Mariners' recent, magical season? He's your guy! Cole's mental health and leadership journeys began in earnest when he was in his early 20's, having just graduated from the University of Washington. Supposedly, he was a young adult, ready to take on the world. But in reality, it felt like his life had yet to begin. After years of self-doubt started to turn into loathing, Cole reached a breaking point and said enough was enough. So, he fully leaned into the process of learning to love himself sustainably in hopes of eventually teaching this process to other people and communities. Fast forward about a decade, and now, Cole is a peer support specialist, high-level therapist, and leader in several capacities (community and professional) whose dream is to open a comprehensive youth and family center in South Seattle where he can operate his private practice out of. In addition to all the community organizing and mutual aid he can muster. Cole has been truly fortunate to tell his story many times to audiences of all types, totaling a couple thousand people - something he wouldn't have believed possible about a decade ago. Therefore, he looks forward to telling it again with the intent of connecting with others who resonate with it, and inspiring people to go on their own journeys of healing, growth, and self-discovery. I also look forward to having a laugh or two at my own expense while just appreciating that we (as human beings) can, in fact, heal and grow when supported properly.
