born + raised in between southern california and the east coast, Neil Reed was classically trained on piano as a child and exposed to music through boomer parents (the beatles, rolling stones, motown, 90s rock and classical). he was drawn to alternative music and hip-hop as he grew into adolescence and thru friends, always endlessly curious in his tastes. As he ventured into college and beyond, his love for music grew but never wavered thru the ups and downs. combining his sensitivity and search for meaning, he writes and explores the intimate and the personal on his first full project, Wanderlusting, hinting at themes of love and loss, loneliness and desire, fragility in chaos. this is his world. enjoy.
