Broadway Musician / TEDx Speaker / Podcast Host
Zak Sandler is a neurodivergent composer, lyricist, and performer specializing in musical theater. He has written a solo musical about his experience with bipolar, "Inside My Head", in which the pre-recorded voices of his mania and depression sing to him during his episodes. The show was developed at the Kennedy Center and has been performed at dozens of NAMI events and at colleges and high schools.
Zak is also soon launching his podcast which examines the link between neurodivergence and creativity, called "Insanely Talented". Look for it everywhere you get your podcasts later this year.
He is also a sought-after public speaker, having delivered a TEDx Talk in Anchorage, Alaska, called “Can Mental ‘Disorder’ Be a Superpower?”, which has over 100,000 views.
