Mitesh Jani on Why Self Image Shapes Your Success | 1,554
Mitesh Jani is fascinated by a question that shapes every human life: why do some people step into their potential while others spend years doubting their own worth?
A dentist, author, and lifelong student of human behavior, Mitesh has spent years exploring the connection between self image, achievement, and personal transformation. Long before he wrote books or built a professional career, he was the kid collecting motivational quotes, searching for the ideas that explain why people think, act, and grow the way they do.
That curiosity eventually became The Process: Six Mechanics of Achievement, a book that distills more than a decade of observation, reflection, and lived experience into a practical framework for personal growth.
While his professional life has been spent in dentistry and business, Mitesh believes the greatest challenges people face are rarely technical. They are internal. The beliefs they hold about themselves, the stories they repeat, and the level of worth they believe they deserve.
His work centers on a simple but profound truth: your life will rarely rise above your self image. When you change how you see yourself, you change what you believe is possible.
Through his writing and conversations, Mitesh helps people strengthen that foundation, so achievement becomes more than success. It becomes an expression of who they know themselves to be.

Author
Hi, I’m Mitesh.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been chasing life’s big questions. As a kid, I would collect motivational quotes just as other kids collected trading cards. That curiosity never left me—it grew into a passion for reflection, writing, and exploring what truly makes us tick. And no matter how far I wander in thought or experience, I keep coming back to one truth: Everything in your life hinges on your self-image and your self-worth. All of my work is about helping people reclaim that inner worth.
In my debut book, The Process: Six Mechanics of Achievement, I distill over a decade of reflections, observations, and lived philosophies into a practical guide for anyone who wants to unlock their highest potential.
Alongside my writing, I am also a practicing dentist. Dentistry and business have given me a unique window into human behaviour, resilience, and the ways people navigate fear, change, and growth. It continues to fuel my curiosity about the mind and personal transformation.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and occasionally indulging (perhaps a bit too much) in my watch-collecting hobby. Friends often tell me I have a knack for lifting their spirits during tough times, and I believe that’s because I’ve always believed in the power of the right words at the right moment. Words can shift perspectives and sometimes change lives.
Here at Selfworth.ca, my mission is simple:
- To inspire deep self-reflection.
- To help you strengthen your inner foundation.
- To give you …Read More
