Thanks to the thoughtful questions and insightful commentary, I was able to tell my story and describe my mission in a way that was compassionate, courageous and powerful. The knowledge both Kevin and Brichelle displayed concerning narcissistic abuse provided the support I needed to feel safe and confident. Brichelle commented how strong and powerful I was and I want folks to know that Kevin and Brichelle helped me demonstrate strength and confidence because of the kind of people they are. I knew I was in a safe place with two wise and knowledgeable people who are truly committed to making the world a better place. I had such a positive experience with Positive Talk Radio from beginning to end. I really appreciated being sought out because they felt I would be a good fit for the show—and then how thoughtfully and professionally they walked me through the process every step of the way. From the screening call to make sure we were mutually a good fit and that I understood the flow of the interview, to sharing information about their audience and reach, I always knew what to expect and felt incredibly well taken care of. Kevin and Brichelle were warm, compassionate hosts who made it very comfortable talk about very difficult topics. My life consisted of a compilation of those topics which inspired me to write my memoir, Blades of Resurrection. I feel I was able to speak from my authentic self and Kevin and Brichelle made that easy to do. I very much enjoyed being interviewed and thought both Kevin and Brichelle asked great questions. I also appreciated the video clips that Kevin puts in to both reinforce the messages of the show and to move the content along. As someone who has hearing loss, I suggest trying to match the microphone volume levels for both Kevin and Brichelle. Brichelle's voice was much fainter than Kevin's, which made it a little harder for me to follow her. I love the scope and enthusiasm of positive messages that are the foundation of the show. When the two hosts are more curious about you than you are, it's going to be a good show. I've listened to quite a few host-dominated podcasts, and the show gets lopsided and boring very quickly. The inverse is also true: a guest-dominated show puts people to sleep. But Kevin and Brichelle create a wonderful, conversation-centered show. People knowing people. What a novel idea! Their questions and curiosity set a wonderful tone for the show, giving me, the guest, a chance to share experiences rather than drone on in lecture. I truly hope this show continues to grow.
