Barbara Kvelstein believes beauty and wellness are most powerful when they enhance who you already are.
Founder of Nordic Clinic and creator of the Scandinavian inspired skincare brand Norderm, Barbara brings a global perspective to beauty, aesthetics, and wellbeing. After traveling to more than 90 countries as a professional tennis player and model, she developed a deep appreciation for skincare and the connection between feeling confident and feeling well.
Originally from Northern Europe, Barbara created Nordic Clinic to bring an authentic Scandinavian philosophy of care to Seattle, one centered on natural beauty, quality, and thoughtful approaches designed with long term results in mind.
Her entrepreneurial journey also extends into hospitality and wellness. Together with her husband, former professional tennis player Hans Podlipnik, Barbara co-founded Earthlight Villas, a luxury hospitality and wellness concept in the Pacific Northwest.
But Barbara's work is rooted in a mission that reaches far beyond aesthetics. Before becoming an entrepreneur, she spent more than a decade working in human rights as a lawyer and NICCS certified anti-trafficking investigator. Today, that commitment continues through Nordic Clinic's mission to support efforts combating child sex trafficking.
Her message is simple: success becomes more meaningful when beauty, wellbeing, and business are built with purpose.
