Russell Anders has been building worlds since childhood, when a simple question, “Then what happens?” turned into a lifelong habit of creating stories filled with imagination and tension.
He went on to channel that curiosity into a career as a technical writer and writing coach for software companies, helping others communicate complex ideas with clarity and structure. Along the way, he also contributed as a columnist for Dragon Magazine, staying close to the storytelling roots that first inspired him.
Outside of his professional work, Russell is deeply immersed in tabletop role playing as a game master, where he crafts challenging, unpredictable narratives that keep players fully engaged. That same storytelling edge carries into his writing, where his characters rarely have it easy.
He shares his life with two English Mastiffs, Sigurd and Rig, who bring both intelligence and chaos into his daily routine.
