1,094 | Nadee Fernando O'Driscoll on Writing, Womanhood & Breaking Social Conventions Mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend, colleague and now an author, Nadee is a woman who writes her own story, dances to her own tune, and sings her own song (off-key, she admits). Born and raised in Sri Lanka, Nadee earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Pune in, India. In 2004, she moved to Ottawa, Canada, and now resides in the beautiful town of Carleton Place with her husband, daughter, two cats and a dog. Nadee and her husband also have two adult children who are out in the world, writing their own success stories. She cherishes sharing her life and passions with her husband, children and their precious granddaughter. Though she always had a knack for writing, it wasn’t until she was 49 that she considered writing a novel.
