Nice to meet you guys Im Dre, I grew up in Park City UT. I am super blessed and grateful for that. My family is from Mexico and they came here as immigrants in the late 90’s. Crazy enough my mom was only 12 when she left home. I also grew up quickly because of the language barrier> Well I am what most people call an old soul. I've even made the joke of feeling like my age now 25 is really that number backwards! I mention that because I found out early in life that if you want something you have to work for it. I was 11 when I started working with my dad at the restaurant he is still currently the chef at. My mom is a housekeeper and has been working on building her own cleaning company. They are both traditional hard working humble Mexican parents. With being raised in a wealthy town and coming from a really Mexican household you grow up completely different from everyone. I was too brown for the white kids and too white for the brown kids! I found my love for music in middle school. Listening to Biggie for the first time felt like I was hearing the angels themselves! As I got older I was sticking mainly to myself in high school because all my real friends were at different schools. With that being said I found a passion for music after my first official release. Which was a diss track to a kid that released a song and I with no hesitation I knew I could make a way better song than him. That's when Mr.Halfbad came into fruition. I wrote it with my long time friend now artist Rico AKA AE$O. I actually wrote some of the verse for him! Now he is one of the most talented artists I have ever heard. With me building the label “Melodic Alchemist Records.” I have gone through so many trials and tribulations that were sent by the devil himself and I thank god everyday for my blessings. From learning to nurture relationships and appreciating them. As well to learn how to let go and how to have strong boundaries that won't put me in unnecessary situations. I look forward to sharing exciting stories. How my faith in god changed my life and how the power of gratitude can make you richer than you could ever imagine!

Andres Rubio Huerta on Hard Work, Faith, and Redefining Success | 1,680 Andres Rubio Huerta believes success is not defined by where you come from, but by the work you put in, the lessons you embrace, and the gratitude you carry along the way. Known as Dre, Andres grew up in Park City, Utah, as the son of hardworking Mexican immigrants. Raised between two cultures, he learned early about responsibility, perseverance, and the importance of creating opportunities through hard work. By age 11, he was already working alongside his father in a restaurant. Music became an outlet for self-expression and identity. Inspired by hip-hop and his own experiences growing up, Andres began creating music under the name Mr. Halfbad, eventually building his own record label, Melodic Alchemist Records. His journey has been shaped by personal challenges, evolving relationships, and lessons about boundaries, self-respect, and letting go of what no longer serves him. Through it all, his faith i…
