Her optimistic outlook began in fourth grade when she played Mother Nature in a school play, walking on stage to a dark, messy world and walking off transformed, wearing a beautiful gown and rose-colored glasses. Those glasses never really came off. She has spent her life seeing the world through compassion, curiosity, and a belief that anything can become beautiful with the right perspective. That outlook guided her through every chapter of her journey. After studying Communications and Marketing at the University of Hartford, Terry began her career in Manhattan before helping launch a property management company in Connecticut.
