Melissa Martineau Alexander believes lasting change begins when we stop waiting to become someone else and start taking responsibility for the person we are today.
An author and creator of W³: Worth. Want. Will.™, Melissa has developed a personal agency framework centered on three essential questions: Do you recognize your worth? Do you know what you genuinely want? And are you willing to take action to create it?
Her work is grounded in lived experience. After navigating alcoholism, depression, bankruptcy, and the process of rebuilding her life, Melissa has now maintained nearly 18 years of sobriety. Those experiences shaped her perspective on transformation and challenged many of the conventional self-help formulas that suggest there is one universal path to changing your life.
Instead, Melissa encourages people to examine what she calls the "Programmed Crap", the accumulated expectations, beliefs, and stories that influence how we see ourselves and what we think our lives are supposed to look like. Her candid and sometimes irreverent approach invites people to separate those inherited narratives from what they genuinely value and want.
Through W³, Melissa focuses on becoming what she calls the Current Self in Current Time, recognizing that meaningful change does not belong to some idealized future version of ourselves. It begins with the choices we are willing to make now.
Her message is simple: people can inspire you, guide you, and hand you the tools, but ultimately, you are the one who has to dig and start creating your best friggin' life.
