Licensed Psilocybin Facilitator, educator, MSW student
Josh Goldstein is a licensed psilocybin facilitator who helps people safely venture into their inner landscapes to access their own innate healing wisdom. Through personalized 1:1 journeys and immersive group retreats, he serves as a grounded anchor for those navigating profound transformative experiences.
Backed by a degree in science and 25 years of experience in education, including nine years as the academic director of a therapeutic boarding school for girls, Josh has spent decades studying how people heal, grow, and overcome complex mental health challenges.
The foundation of Josh’s practice is an 11-year immersion in a spiritual tradition centered around the ceremonial use of plant medicine. Over time, he stepped into a leadership role within the community, where he facilitated ceremonies, an experience that profoundly influenced the grounded, intentional approach he brings to his work today.
Josh recognizes that dedicated, long-term mentorship is a vital element often missing from today’s rapidly evolving psychedelic landscape. He intentionally grounds modern, legal practice in traditional foundations, creating a more holistic and integrated experience.
As a member of Oregon’s historic inaugural cohort of licensed psilocybin facilitators, Josh has been at the forefront of the legal psychedelic movement. His work includes facilitating the nation’s first legal psilocybin retreat for veterans and collaborating on a project supporting people recovering from opioid use disorder.
Josh helps clients approach psychedelic experiences as a sacred catalyst for authentic self-discovery by bridging modern, evidence-informed practice with a fierce commitment to honoring the wisdom, traditions, and mentorship that have guided medicine workers for generations. Whether someone is seeking healing, clarity, or personal growth, Josh offers a grounded, compassionate presence that empowers clients to access their own innate wisdom and integrate meaningful change into their lives.
