Josie Rimmer is the founder of the DirtFish Women in Motorsport Initiative. After finding very little content on women in rally, she began seeking out stories and writing articles to tell them. The more women’s stories she heard, the more driven she was to do more. So, the Women in Motorsport Initiative was born. DirtFish now runs year-round All-Women's Driving Programs, as well as an annual Summit event which, in 2023, saw 500 participants live, 4,000 streamers virtually, and hosted Michèle Mouton and Pernilla Solberg as just a few of its incredible panelists. Her focus lies in telling young girls that “race car driver” can most definitely be the answer to what they want to be when they grow up.
